It does seem only right to have a Type 1, a Type 2, and a Type 3...
I wonder what city ordinances say about the number of cars I can own/register.

I keep going back and forth on this. The first VW I ever went to look at with serious intentions of buying was a green squareback (can't remember which year). It was in probably a little better shape than this one, and they were asking $500. The only problem was that it wasn't running, and I didn't know nearly enough to even begin troubleshooting then. I came by their house and tinkered with stuff I knew nothing about for a few days after work, but ultimately had no success.
I was looking at prices on driveways, and it doesn't look like it would cost an unreasonable amount to put one in--I've been wanting one for a while anyway

Undoubtedly, that was a good 6-7 years ago when I couldn't tell the difference between a fuel injected and a carbureted engine

that looks like what my square used to... same year and color...

if you do buy it - I would be interested in the spare tow hitch.... (:
