Book Art bits
None of these hits two inches high, the last one is about a half an inch.
After doing some research and drawing, I am reminded of how much I liked these cars when they first came out with that D-jet fuel injection.

Re: Book Art bits
I sure have many many fond memories of the family square I learned to drive in. Overnight refuge from a coastal storm that swamped the tent, hopping in and out of the back delivering newspapers, the weak horn connection dashing my first driving test for my license, good times, good times.

My first *car* was a Squareback red 1968 with some real issues that I bought for $19.00 and sold for $20.00.ruckman101 wrote:I sure have many many fond memories of the family square I learned to drive in. Re: Book Art bits
I remember the sound of the first Type 3 I heard get on it, 1968, Newtown, Connecticut, and the neighbor showing me that engine packed under the floor with all that mysterious eelectronic-like fueling jection stuff, man, frightening progress threatening to overwhelm my nascent understanding of automobiles. As I remember, that car went off the road when his wife was driving because the AFTERMARKET WOOD STEERING WHEEL WITH REAL CHROME came off in her hands.hambone wrote:They are lovely cars.
