I am having an appreciation attack for Megyn Kelly. She punctured that balloon, the Fearsome Karl Rove:

Megyn's cute, sure. But smart? I dunno. Look who she chooses to work for.

"Appreciation attack" as in a brief fit of real appreciation that she played it straight. I don't care who you work for, how smart you are, what your tribal/party affiliation is, if you call it out straight, I am grateful (particularly if the timing is exquisite, like it was with Megyn Kelly snapping at Karl Rove. Like I am grateful to Chris Christie, too, for expressing appreciation for Barack Obama during the storm crisis.

Absolutely. I like Chris Christie. He makes sense much of the time.

He'd be only too delighted. Friends of The Fatherland stick together.

60K miles now, btw. Not one complaint, other than the time his low coolant light came on at 3AM in SE Alberta. He was right. He was a half litre low. : )
