Eliot Spitzer

Sorry if this is redux, I've been a bit preoccupied lately...

But I saw "Client 9: Rise and Fall of Eliot Spitzer" on Netflix a night or two ago. And I have to say it is something special. In part because you actually have Eliot giving candid interviews as well as the CEO of AIG and his Republican arch nemesis in the New York house of reps (Rizzo I think) and a whole slew of the Wall Street elite who hate Eliot and make no bones about it.

It really seems to me that this film not only speaks of the scandal, but to something larger in the American fabric. Our emphasis on morality, our seemingly endless quest for power and wealth, especially among a certain Wall Street elite. An attempt to define what is right and wrong, and what is the 'most important' right and wrong...if there is anything more important than winning and losing.

This film doesn't seem to pick sides. Others might see it diferrently. That is their right. I just wanted to say give it a try if you have a Netflix account.
