Cyber Intelligence and Sharing Act passes House

Post by Amskeptic » Fri Apr 27, 2012 7:10 am

What is your opinion about a law that allows companies and the federal government to share information collected on the Internet to help prevent electronic attacks from cybercriminals, foreign governments, and terrorists?
Will it help or hinder?

Without a doubt, it will do both.
Question then is: will it help those it is intended to help, and hinder those it is intended to hinder?
Further question is: are we certain that we know who those two groups are?

I try to stay clear of conspiracy theorizing, it is too beautiful a day, but I look at the coordination of our our dumbing down desperation, and I have to ask . . .

why the hell is the NSA building a huge campus outside of Bluff Utah housing the very most powerful computer technology available to be able to digest the complete traffic on the internet. What is the purpose of such a thing? Can't we invest in people for cripe's sakes, instead of having to invest in the consequences of people not invested in? It has been proven so many times over that every dollar taken from childhood investment programs cost three times as much in the subsequent disenfranchised adult pathology.
