Santorum's Not Feeling Well

Post by Amskeptic » Tue Feb 28, 2012 1:12 pm

. . . said so himself. Said he felt like throwing up. Apparently while reading John F. Kennedy's 1960 speech defending the privacy with which he held his Catholic faith. Santorum, again, not feeling well, felt that Kennedy was promoting a godless country.

Will the serial embarrassments ever end?

"Democrat John Kerry, the party’s 2004 presidential nominee said: 'I can’t take my Catholic belief, my article of faith, and legislate it on a Protestant or a Jew or an atheist.”

This is perfectly said. And Santorum's attitude is perfectly offensive. We are not a nation of Catholics, or even a nation of Christians. And the "founding fathers" argument that conservatives keep bringing up is ridiculous. But it sure gets sucked up in a hurry by the masses.

And thank god for that, because I still believe that the majority of Americans find these men frightening.

No, that horror from circa 1975 I put in the back of my darkest closet, further back than any beat-up denim shorts.

This is the chucklehead who said John McCain didn't understand the techniques of enhanced interrogation.

I shared the link from Faux News so that I couldn't be accused of spreading liberal propaganda.

Dan Quayle and George W. Bush must love this guy.

Every time I listen to Santorum, I don't feel well. Despite my suspicion that in his opinion I've "misheard" him.

Yikes. That must have made John McCain's blood run cold. Ignorance is vast.

This guy isn't just ignorant. He's way worse than that.

At least Romney is merely vapid.
