I posted that as a caution. When we cannot agree on serious basic principles, like elementary logic and scientific method and the meaning of words, we are unmoored from ever being able to arrive at a consensus. The number of hare-brained notions being widely promulgated through the miracle of the internet is growing. The essential ties of community (like the United states of america) appear to be rending right in front of us.
It is an act of patriotism, I think, to test and to challenge the "proofs" being declared in cyber-space.

Oh yeah, I got that. I found that hare-brained article to be especially hare-brained and hyperbolic. Saying "Obama is the banks golden boy" is reasonable compared to "he's a psychopath."

I am not anywhere near being able to compare. For one, I do not know "the banks", who are they? Are we talking about individuals? Because the CEOs of Citibank and Bank America sure as heck weren't sounding too pleased about Obama's credit card regulations, you know?
I just can't know who the "the government" is, who "the unions" are, who the International Banking Cartel is, who are the individuals in power in these generalized labels? That is what I want to know. I want to know what Jeffrey Immelt thinks, what Ben Bernanke thinks, we are all individuals with individual goals within the complex lattice work of society, and I just find myself so irritated by the swoopy generalizations spewed by our conspiratorial bretheren.

We are on the same page. Individuals are to blame. And every one of us has our own side to te story. I wonder if you had dinner with Rupert Murdoch and could give him a Magic Candid-making Bean, just how convincing might his justifications be? I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt. I bet he'd have any one of us scratching our head at a few points during the meal, going "hmm... That does make sense, gawdammit."

I want to see them again. It is shameful.
Got it, he is crap. I am going with Ron Paul like a lot of my fellow veterans.
