Anybody got an extra?

You have a bad gauge? I am surprised. 99% of the time, the sender is gone. The other 1% is the voltage stabilizer. Been here? http://www.type2.com/library/misc/vwggauge.htm

If it turns out for sure your gauge is bad, I have one. It came with the instrument cluster that I bought on eBay to get the original, wonderful, glorious clock! Sorry, had to gloat!

The gauge includes the vibrator, let me know which part (or both) that you need.

Yeah Karl.. for the second time in 4 years. Dick.. I'll take both if you can spare them. (Colin and I made the diagnosis with a multitude of tests including hooking up a brand new sender.) When the needle just seems to bury itself to the left and you can't even see it, to me that is gauge. If the needle is clearly visible and still doesn't work or works intermittantly, that is sender. (I know, but that's a very quickie diagnosis that needs to be verfied with current tests both at gauge and at sender.)

Let me know how much I owe you.
