Ye who drives the longest gets the most "kills" on the front of the bus.
Wish we could have found a spot up there somewhere like the Bull of the Woods camp spot but that place was just logging roads. Would be cool to go back and hike the trail off of 5701 though, that little valley was amazing old growth and lots of little waterfalls and streams. Those chops were mighty tasty as was the Brutal Bitter that Neil hooked me up with.

Upon further inspection, I've actually been on that trail before! Years ago tho.
From what I've read, it's a very popular spot (go figure). Called the Siuxon Creek Roadless Area.
So we wouldn't get much solitude.

Not a single picture of Bertha. That'll show us not to bring a camera. Well we were Johnny Come Latelys. Still. Into camp by dusk, blathering within the start of evening, what was that, proso? woooof, got a second taste of that with a belch Sunday afternoon at work.
Missed Gypsie, missed Bob. Still we felt compelled to jam and attempt free poetry of moment reflection.
What a train wreck at times.
Even the one evening was a guilty pleasure of connection my usual schedule precludes.
Maupin Minded,
neal

John, I hope you're cooking something up for the potluck. Wow!!!!
The best navigators aren't sure where they're going until they get there. And then they're still not sure.
