I agree. I usually loathe state parks but since we pretty much take over the whole loop it makes it more bearable. Not to mention the campground is just about deserted that time of year.hambone wrote:I prefer real camping! Where the hell have you been, Trout? Miss ya.

It's not a bad one...especially with you guys. BUT it is early September, and Feb seems like a distant place. PLENTY of good mountain time left.

You bet. End of October snow camp? If we have snow by then. Haven't been into White River for awhile.hambone wrote:It's not a bad one...especially with you guys. BUT it is early September, and Feb seems like a distant place. PLENTY of good mountain time left.

A21... again. Can't wait.
EDIT: As it turns out, I was in A19 last year and Mark was in A21. This year he's back in A23 where he belongs and I'm still next to him. Either way it's a great weekend, I hope all that are even remotely nearby come and enjoy it with us. Standing on the beach looking up at The Milky Way is indescribable.

Just got back from there. B31, I think. Hell of a beach, that's for sure.

Wish I could make it. But no way. Feb 2nd is our 25th anniversary and I don't think Jacki would consider that an appropriate destination. First year I've missed it since we've moved here.

Re: Nehalem, Jan 31-Feb 2, 2014
Here's what you do: fake calendars all over the house just before the event. "Nooo, noooo honey, it's MONDAY today". You can do clocks too but that would just be mean.
I'm hoping to make this one, probably just show up and crash someone's asphalt instead of reservations 1,000 months ahead of time.
