Beautiful! My voltage regulator is mounted to the fuel tank compartment firewall. Go figure.

Mine too. And the fish-eyed illustration's voltage regulator is also on the fuel tank bulkhead . . . just tucked over where you can't see it, just like yours, I'll warrant..Westy78 wrote:dtrumbo wrote:Beautiful! My voltage regulator is mounted to the fuel tank compartment firewall. Go figure.

I dont quite follow. Mine is mounted on the ribbed firewall right above where you show the fuel pressure regulator.Amskeptic wrote:Mine too. Re: L-Jet Top Shot W Key
Take a look at this. It is screwed to the bulkhead (firewall) AND it is slightly tucked to the right under the access lid opening. I counted those ribs to get the thing located right, it is a severe perspective in the illustration.Westy78 wrote:I dont quite follow. Re: L-Jet Top Shot W Key
Yep, I get it. When one looks down the hatch in one's bus one doesn't realize that one unconsciously moves one's head to more easily see said regulator. Looking at the stunningly beautiful, incredibly detailed drawing, one cannot move one's head anywhere to see things that are hidden from the perspective of the drawing. At first I thought Colin drew the regulator mounted to the right side wall 90º out of whack. Now, realizing the perspective from which it was drawn, it is in fact, in the correct location.Amskeptic wrote:... it is a severe perspective in the illustration.
