Removing stuck heater cable
Trying to get heat in the Bus. Got the passenger side hooked up and it's pretty good. Need to get the drivers side hooked up but the old broken cable is stuck in the tube. Actually the sleeve is stuck. The cable moves fine. Any tips on getting this out without breaking it off inside?

Got it about 2 feet out and then the sleeve broke. Now I'm pulling the center of the cable but the sleeve and wire coil are stuck. I'm afraid to pull more because if I leave the sleeve and pull out the cable I'll never get the new one in.

Got it all out. Just yanked until it unraveled and released. New problem. The heater cable I got isn't right. It doesn't fit the clamp by the control levers and it's about 3 inches too short. Now I need to find a new one.

Bus Depot is the only place I could find with the correct 1 year only drivers side (left) cable. Fits perfectly.
