This for all of us in the greater Portland area is Lake Merwin outside of Amboy. In September there are no reservations required and I have found that this weekend and the last weekend of the month, if there are 5 people camping in a 70 spot campground that's a crowd.
There are 2 ways to do this. If we can round up 20 campers then we can reserve the "private" site. This would put everyone in a circle with communal facilities in the center. The cost for this is $300 a night divided by 20 = $15.00 each.
The next option is that everyone arrives gets one of the campsites available and we can gather from there. The cost of this is $17 a night.
The campground has full hookups along with showers, toilet facilities and fire pits. It also has a huge children's play area, lake swimming and boating.
If you'd look out at your calendars and see if these days will fit your schedule and let me know. If we get close to 20, we'll try to get the private campground other wise, we'll go for the separate sites. You can reach me through the PM here and we'll see what happens.

I suggest that you tap the edge of the bowl every once in a while. We will hear it and come if it is doable.
This herd of cats aint so easy to wrangle (just ask Hammie...)
Sounds like a good trip. Good time of year too.
I will hopefully have a running van by then.

So it all started when I wanted to get better gas mileage....
