1.8L T4 found on PDX CL

Talked to the guy at length, it's a 73/74 1.8L, and it has been sitting with the guy for a good few years now.
It is a long block due to the Porsche engine using all of the transferable parts from the 1.8L

tempting but so much unknown, it would be a good candidate for a core/rebuild

1.8 heads might be worth the price of admission. Case, aluminum, easily enough refurbishable.

are 1.8s rebuildable ? local dingbat has one for $50..condition unknown
