But yes, I enjoyed the day, discovering a bit of human foilable Bookwus and we all share. Reassuring in some regards. and if I could just find a card reader, I could get some photos up. Very Ninja. Much communication was had with Bookwus.

Foilable? As in foil used to shim up the generator pulley hub? The foibles of foil, I could write a book ....

Here's your kinda dorky rear end shot at pj's CandyApple Volkswagen Palace, a first-class bed-n-breakfast for the wayward Volkswagen itinerants. That place is *immaculate* and the accomodations were four star. Thank-you, pj, for hosting me and babysitting the TBRRD until I get back.

Please let me know if you think you might make it back through Dallas in the near future. I could definitely use a day.

I should be coming through Dallas in late October or early November. If you'd prefer 110* we can make in the summer ... :sunny:

Rephrase... When do you think you will be in New England next? I see you are heading from FL to KY. I am not seeing anything in this area for the fall.

I could use another visit here in VT. Look at the weather map showing US high temperatures. Where is the warmest place? You know, the red areas not the blue ones. That's probably where you will find him. It was in the low 40's here this morning with a prediction of 50's today and 30's tonight. It is doubtful you will be finding him crawling under buses, etc. around here anytime soon. If your VW can make it, head for the desert!

This is the first year I haven't wished for 2+ visits. I feel comfortable wrapping up the est of my 2011 list on my own. Thanks Colin!

Now, now, your business model is set up to eventually put yourself out of work, I mean teaching people to work on their cars themselves? Rather than a has-been, I'd say this is a shining example of success.

Colin, I will take the fact that you will not answer the great northeast question(?) as an answer, and I truely understand. The bus is now uninsured until Spring anyway. However, the slow to complete '11 list will continue to get chipped away at and money will be put aside for the torsion adjustment and future needs. I am looking forward to '11 being the year of the bus for me and the family.

Well, jimbear, seeing as the 2011 Itinerary apparently has but one customer left, I am dearly hoping that 2012 is the Year of Your Bus.

I've been on the go every day since March 05 2010. I have to get off the road and sit, sit boy sit, stay .... staaaay, good boy, now finish that book.

Yes, please! Slowly saving up for a '12 visit for Bumblebus after your yearly Missoula/Mitch/Ludwig visit and it sure would be swell to buy a copy of your book at the same time.

'12 it is. My brain gets frazzled after a full day with teenagers. I hope you rest well and I look forward to seeing you (hopefully) in the spring.
