Live your passion... that's all I'm gonna say. And hopefully, by God, no one ever calls me a hypocrite for saying that. Actually, most importantly, hopefully I can look myself in the mirror and not call myself a hypocrite.

Personally,

I think you need a vanagon. Something with a little moxie up-front. We'll find you a brushbeater at the junkyard like I got, and then you'll be rollin' in style. None of this 70's stuff!

You wouldn't wear a white 3 piece suit would you? No! You wouldn't go to a roller disco would you? No!! You wouldn't be caught dead listening to Olivia Newton-John, would you? No!!!

Then, why, oh why, are you rolling in that '78?!

Ok, I'm just jealous of the Bob D's clean lines and elegant, vintage VW styling, but still. A vanagon! Hell, it rolls right off the tongue like wurst off a roll!

Ya gotta think about it...

Vanagon seats actually sit a little higher.

Good golly miss molly! I have never heard of this change in this order! Always, it is the other way around! It almost sounds like "The 78 Bus interiors are so much cheaper looking than early Bays." Then again, I am a 71 snob.

<Insert irony here>

The bus has a new motor and tranny, also new duel weber carbs. The engine has about 25,000 miles on it, and I have a clear title. It does not have good tags, but it doesnt have to go through DEQ which is a plus. It needs to be restored, its all primered gray right now and I have over $5000.00 in brand new parts that will go with it, all the window moldings and chrome new, all of the new interior panels new in box ect....... also extra seat too. I want $3,200.00 firm and no trades. It has been sitting in the garage out of the rain, starts up fine, havent really drove it for about 5 years except for a trip up Mount Hood about 2 years ago and it did great. If you are interested call 503-805-9763

1/2 quart of oil in how many miles? I wonder if a ring(s) stuck from sitting. Maybe a little Marvel Mystert Oil in there.

Don't you occasionally get them all lined up and then the oil has a much easier time pouring down their gaps?
