Kinda off the current topic, but related -

Hey Colin - Just wanted to let you know, I've put about 150 miles on her since you left, not even a drip of oil, no gas fumes, and not one hiccjurk. Think I'm getting about 17-18 mpg city, another good indication we got the problem licked.

So this weekend, will be richening the dynamic up, hooking up the heater cables (or wiring them open), and check one last time for vac leaks in preparation for it's journey to Chi-town.

Cheers,
Mike

So you are driving the bus to Shy town? Cool. Let me know what your plans are. I've got Oct. 16th penciled in. Be helpful to tell the wife if you are camping out back or in the guest room.

Good to hear. :bounce:
Black cog 6 clicks clockwise and adjust idle mixture only if necessary with a fully warm engine.
That was some sort of tired day of driving towards Chicago after wee-hour-philosophizing

It was awful! Cruising at a hushed effortless 82mph in air-conditioned splendor with the perfectly reproduced surround-sound resonances of a Bosendorfer Grand reflecting Rachmaninoff's Second Piano Concerto against the muted palette of earth tones on exquisite leather with matching tinted windows as I crisply kicked down the 32Valve 4Cam V8 and dusted that stupid Mustang, I noted with dismay that I was slightly fatigued.

Watch out that it does not lull you in asleep at the wheel song and dance late at night!
