I look at this photo and thing "The journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step".

Also, "If I broke down out there, I would be dead and a frozen Popsicle in a Bus."
Up, up the long, delirious, burning blue, I’ve topped the wind-swept heights with easy grace. Where never lark, or even eagle flew. And, while with silent, lifting mind I've trod, The high untrespassed sanctity of space, Put out my hand, and touched the face of God.

As in all things . . . a little balance.
I am a crazed hermit now who doesn't know how to talk to normal people any more . . . which isn't all bad.

Enquiring minds want to know. Whc03grady, tell us about the day.

On the left coast

Hopefully you'll be recovered for you eagerly awaited visit to the NW corner. We've set a record for no rain in the spring... 29 days without a drop. However the forecast is calling for a bit of precipt. From your diary it sounds like you may be the guy that we'll have to blame for the spring showers!!

Looking forward to your visit on the 30th. I have a shelter lined up with the neighbors if it does get wet.

Indeed.
Little things I notice like helping pick up my tools at the end of the day. Not your responsibility to do that, but very courteous.
