glasseye wrote:Somebody, please. Explain to me this inexplicable hatred by America of socialism. Aren't we inherently social beings? Americans are among the most generous people I've met, yet many seem to have a irrational fear of sharing on a national, rather than personal level. I don't get it. :drunken:
We are the sheep in Pink Floyd's Animals. We are the sheep bleating like idiots in Orwell's Animal Farm.

PJ, honest to God, do you not understand what pissed me off? That "Joe" guy was lying. You like getting lied to? I don't. Then he spouts nonsense about Obama tap dancing like Sammy Davis in his reply? Joe wasn't even listening cuz he sure as hell doesn't get it. Look at the lies Americans have swallowed from the Bush Administration. And they STILL listen to this bullshit about how Republicans are about lower taxes and smaller government? Are you serious? Are you serious?

I am done with idiots. I am done with idiots. I am done with idiots.

Glasseye, we Americans do not know what socialism is. We only react like braying donkeys haunted by ghosts of our own reactive idiocy. If it wasn't socialism, it would be "communism." If it wasn't the "Yellow Peril" or the "Red Menace" it is now the "Muslim Terrorists." It is time for us American idiots to shut up, admit all that we do not know, pray for real guidance, learn true humility, and heck, attempt to re educate ourselves. I cannot believe how we champion stupidity. And if you have any questions about your own place in the continuum of stupidity, allow me to provide you a tip-off. If you find yourself spewing more divisive hatred and red herrings about people you have never met than actual efforts to make this a truly better world, you are an idiot.

I hope you aren't truly done with idiots, Colin, because I love your bullseye-peppering responses to idiocy.

Thank-you. I don't want that reply to sound disrespectful to anyone who posted here, because I truly do enjoy all who visit here. But STILL, please please please, we Americans have got to pay attention to what is going on. John McCain is running about spewing about socialism and taxes and Democrats like Snowball in Animal Farm, when the fact of the matter is that it has been ONLY under REPUBLICAN administrations that our national debt has gone straight to hell, that is a fact.

"Share the wealth" says Obama clumsily, but what he meant to say as does Biden already is "Play Fair." That is why I want to knock heads with these people who are getting sucked into the McCain/Palinbullshit. It is clear that people at the top have not been playing fair. They have been ripping us all off. Why why why do voters not see? I have seen thousands of small towns across this achingly beautiful country over the past half-decade become ghost towns, why? Is it because of welfare and social programs? NO. It is because we have given away the national treasury to bastards who pay to play with Tom Delay Jack Abramhoff Mafia.

That must have been the 'Sarah Palin Pro-America' part of the country, right? :pukeleft:

Here's hoping for a 2009 itinerary where you can see this beautiful country again, this time in a re-born state of optimism and hope. :flower:
