No kidding Glasseye! If Colin put the word out here: http://www.vvwc.ca or even here under "automotive services": http://www.usedvictoria.com I'm sure he'd get some interest. As long as he had enough customers to offset the BC Ferrie$ co$t.

I am letting the PDX aura steep in my mind as I totally get into the like California groove? You Portland folks have arrived at a critical mass of sorts, many air-cooled enthusiasts who know each other and drink together and then camp out. And it is beautiful up there. That is an unbeatable combination.

Joiiiiiiinnnn Ussssssssss.....drinnnnnnnnk the cool-aidddddddddd
But only if you can handle 17 months of rain out of the year! :cyclopsani:
Yeah I feel pretty lucky to have met this great bunch of people. I spent my first few years here alone, wandering the mountains in search of Sasquatch, lamenting and celebrating the solitude, then all of a sudden I'm blessed with comradarie and true friends.
Life is funny.
To top it off, I see so many AC VW campers out there that don't even know about the IAC Experience.

There are others that need him more now. It is time to let him go.

Life happened.

Colin may be able to catch up with us at the end of his itinerary in October, but in the meantime he filled our space (for August) with another customer elsewhere so we were grateful for that. We did not want him to suffer any loss of income, so that was a blessing.

BTW, Phred has been doing great since the miraculous work of the Itinerant Scissorhands visit earlier this year. We were going to replace the CV boots and troubleshoot a gremlin in the front end making some noise. Two months from now (if it happens) isn’t so bad. It would be a plus to have cooler than the triple digit weather we’ve had since May to do some work. :flower:
