Directions, courtesy of Mark from '08:

Take I-84 to The Dalles...exit 87...hwy 197 South towards Maupin. 10 miles before Maupin you'll come to a blinking light. Turn right into Tygh Valley (or left if you've come over the mountain and are heading north on 197) Turn right at the Tygh Tavern...this will put you on Wamic Market Road. Follow this up the hill and on into the town of Wamic (stay left at the junction where you see signs for "Lexies"). Once to Wamic(7 miles or so), turn left at the Y (follow signs to Barlow Road Route). After 4 miles, the pavement will change to shock-testing broken pavement...you'll know you're approaching the turn off . Go another mile (5 miles total from Wamic) and turn right (road 4810) at the sign for Bonney Crossing. 1/4 mile stay right at the Y. Mile 2...take right at sign (road 4811). Mile 4...go right at the T onto 2710.
2710 then drops down into the Badger Creek canyon at Bonny Crossing. Climb back out the other side and take a right on good (red) gravel road 140 heading east.
Watch for homemade VW signs! Depending on the weather, we will either be on 160 (SOUTH side of the canyon), Bonny Crossing Camp (BOTTOM of the canyon), or down 140 (NORTH side). It's EZ, you'll find us.

I'm in, too. Probably not for too long, though. Like Colin, I crave some warm weather.

You are too far north. That's Little Badger Creek, we will be on Badger Creek, to the south. They come together just past our camp.
On the link below: "A" is 140 (not shown on Google - turn right) - "B" is Bonny Crossing Campground.

Something about Winslow AZ as well, thrown into the mix. And I CAN handle 20 women. Yep. All in th monniker. Spring Fever besides.
Glasseye AKA Courier Bill AKA The Skampering Straggler sends his regrets. Off to the blistering south.
I am getting anxious to go. It has been interesting changing set-n-th-way storage habits and trying to cram more stuff in the same space. It's good getting rid of the old dirt and crap-wrappers.
A roof rack will be nice. I am skared to loose a box a kazooos all over the Clackamas however and will need Expert Advice to tye th werks down.

This has really gone stream'o'consciousness. I feel like I'm lost in a Kerouac novel.

I must admit I'm pretty jazzed for the 20 women. :la:
