brakes? yes (and no) - installed a new master cylinder as soon as we returned from maupin... also have a spare set of pads in the emergency kit now as well. good strong pedal... nothing like before. still need to purchase/replace the backing plates for the e-brake cable though. due to the unexpected loss of our engine it has been dropped down on the to-do list. living in our bus now so any extra space now takes priority.

engine? yes - the engine has been fully rebuilt and is running strong. picked her up a week ago and is a strong runner. not sure we will ever head back down that way or not, but if you ever get up to eugene/corvallis (ahem - the country fair) give us a call.

how does it attach to the bus along the gutter, is there a long rubber strip that tucks in or a long poll that needs to sit inside the gutter?

I have a roof rack and the brackets are every few feet or so, so looking for something that doesn't need one long solid connection along the slider for the mounting points

You can call in a credit card to pay or paypal or whatever just so the shop does get the shipping paid back. SOoooo any takers now. Otherwise off to somewhere else I am not moving this tent Please it is a great tent if you base camp.
