Yeah me too. I may have to go to Bimart and get a basic flypole.
Fresh fish!
Hey it's grouse season too. Saw a lot last weekend at Baty Butte. Bring a rifle if ya got one.
I like the idea of flying by the seat of our pants too. Never know what's out there...

You seem like a slingshot type-a-guy, hambone.

Looking forward to whatever. I'll bring my pole --- and my fishing rod too :blackeye:

Sweet - Gypsie too. Fancypants was even kinda tossin' the idea around too the other day.

Hopefully it will stop raining by this time next week. And that brings up a question of mine --- Anyone know of a decent place to get a decent set of rain gear for cheap, but not too cheap but not REI "cheap" either.

Hambone, If Plaza Lake is the place we are going --do you normally take a left near the reservoir area on N. Fork Road/NF4610 or do you head all the way up and come in from NF 58 Shellrock Road? Do you normally just camp on the road or is there an off-spur?

You can only access from the Promontory Park side, 4610 is washed out in the middle. Haven't been past Twin Springs but word has it there are places to camp past there. By Squaw Lakes you have to camp on the road, we don't want that, although I did it once when Teri was little...
Lots to do in the area though.
Go to the Columbia Sportswear Outlet in Sellwood, very good deals on good stuff.
Got a very cheapo fly outfit from Bimart today. Mebbe I'll catch somethin. Probably my hat.

Take a look at that when you're up that way, if you haven't already. I'm curious as to just how much the Forest Service f*cked things up...
