You've been to Dinger Lake? Crap there is an abandoned trail heading there, thot it was an "unknown" spot. I guess if there's fish then people will find a way. I'll bet the old FS trail is still abandoned though. Did you actually make it to the lake itself? Seems like quite a bushwack.
P.S. there is another spot down in Bull of th Woods called "Nasty Rock" but it used to be called "Cock Rock" or the like and got changed along the way.

Yeah, been a few years. I don't remember following a trail. I think we did a bushwack through the marshy end of the lake. The bugs turned us back before we did any fishing. I'm not sure that lake actually has any fish though. I think it's one of them that's to shallow to prevent winter kill.hambone wrote:You've been to Dinger Lake? Old trail was on the SW side of the lake. Just a way trail and abandoned in the late 30s. I'll betcha it was blazed though. Hope to go look for it this summer.
