Looks like we'll be joing you at the begining of the week. Highs in the 20's lows in the teens. I'd still be out there camping though. I can handle the cold, it's the rain that makes camping crappy for me.chitwnvw wrote:Thanks for the pics all. For one who has two in the garage, it is keeping hope alive. If you were talking to me, I agree. That chilly rain saps your energy away. I'll take snow any day if I am going to be in the elements for any period of time. You did get to go into your comfy weekender and warm up though, right?hambone wrote:It's a little different sitting out continuously in it though. Kinda drains ya after a couple days.

YA I"M TALKIN TA YOU
Yes the bus sleepy time is the only salvation. Very cozy. Can you believe I was the only one without a portable heater? I guess my Midwest training comes in handy.

I'm slow.
Morning promise
Friend in the window. We were supposed to meet at a gas station, and I was running a bit late. Worried about Troy, only to look in rearview mirror and see th' thumbs up. Freaky.
On the way
Morning mist mystery man
Gypsie
"I take it black thank you"
If you thought I was busy you should see Mark with his kids. Most Attentive Dad Ever.
Handsome feller O72.
Glory-partakers
Quick trip to heaven
Looking for Gypsie under the ice (he arrived late at night with hot tacos, but speculation included hilarious tales up upturned van and babbling GPS)
More handsome mountainmen.
Normalized vision after beer and smoke. IAC style.
Room with view.
Om mani padme hum. Yours in Christ.
Th Gatekeeper.
Things got weird.
An accident, or vortex. I like it.

GREAT pics Bob! "So I says to Mabel" that one cracks me up. Thanks for the "attentive daddy" comment...I truely enjoy campin' with those guys and was proud they were so dang hearty on this not-so-summerlike trip. That was likely the longest hike they'd ever taken and not even a whimper. They're already talkin' bout next time. NOT Nehalem tho...that one's just for me (and all ya'all of course) I think Gyspie will need to carry his GPS on our stoney stumble there, though

Yeah! Thank Mabel for our good fortune of picking last weekend...we (I) would have likely bailed with the forecast we're facing. Clouds are building, temp is dropping, a few scattered raindrops...hopefully will snow like hell here tonight! I like snow...specially when I'm home and cozy warm. And a good layer will help keep our many, many, many pipes to cabins, etc. from freezing.

Mark, either you were diggin' out a wedgie or that dent owes you an apology.
Great pics Bob - I've been checking back daily for for some of your photographic magic and the captions are just perfect....further confirmation of another good time had by all. Thanks for the memories.
Wonder how much snow has fallen on that little patch of heaven in the past day?
