Beer Club for Deschutes Rondesvwthingy

Post by IFBwax » Sun Jun 08, 2008 12:57 pm

How about we bring one or two of our favorite obscure beers for a little taste test on Friday night.

Here's the plan.. we get eight of us or so.. and we all get to have a taste of the others favorite beer.

Anyone interested?

We could do it on Friday around Sunset.

So say we have 8 people who want to do it, you'd bring two of the same type of beer so everyone would get a 3 oz taste. And if you tasted all the beers, that be the equivalent of having two beers. Not too bad.

Right now I'm thinking either a nice Belgian or perhaps a real Bavarian Weiss Beer.

I'll brink some Ninkasi brews, it's a small local brewery. No sixers though, just the big bottles.

It sounds like a good idea Wayne, but doing something that structured with this group is like herding cats.

"No, I don't want to try that, this one's too good."

"That looks too light, you brought it, you drink it!"

"Hey were did my IPAs go?"

Or it might work just fine.

Yo yo yo. When is the Rendevous again? And what beer you guys want from Seattle?

Bus is running!!! I just ran a 2000 mile trip to Yosemite and back and I'm stoked to get in again and do some more camping and I wanna make the Rendevous this year if I didn't already miss it!

This is a separate thing from the keg, right?
