Keg?

Try that I might, my mind to date hasn't resolved the issue of keg placement, care and tap without major modifications or a huge tub of ice in the middle of the floor, so gave up before pricing.

There shall be a keg (well .. half-keg) present at Maupin. Joseph has possession of said keg at this time, I'm bringing along the never-used trash can to hold the keg & ice.

However, I'm not entirely clear whether or not he also has a keg *tap* in his possession to get the beer out of the keg with. Anybody got one they can bring just in case?

Who's on first?

Me thinks we might have a kegtragedy if the details don't get worked out :geek:

If all else fails, I'll line everyone up, get my BFS (Big F'ing Screwdriver) and pop a hole in the side. Ya'll just need to keep your mouths open and take a breath from time to time.

Bring that too, the can I've got is 20 gallon and I'm not sure how well the keg is going to fit into it .. but it'll at least let us start getting the beer cold after we set up camp tonight, so it should be ready by the time the rest of y'all get there tomorrow afternoon.

Yeah, I said tonight. Mary and I along with Joseph & Co are heading over this afternoon; we'll try and grab the area under the trees near the water faucet where we were at during the first RendesVW. We're gonna try and claim space for everyone...

That'd be great. That was a good spot! We'll be there around 5 on Friday.

He came out well enough that he's happy with things.

Next year we should try a bit more planning on the keg front, it was kinda last-minute. Maybe a donation box and a full keg instead of a pony keg too, but who knows. There's a few months to think about it...

Good, just making sure he didn't have to suck up the cost any.

And yes, I'll bring something more like real beer next time :geek:

No kidding! That Ninkasi was like having the rug pulled out from under me. Scales dropped from my eyes. Re-birth. The Great Awakening. Stuff like that. :cyclopsani:

I brought back 6 packs from Deschutes, and From Mt. Shasta Brewery. My office loves me right now.

BTW, anyone living in Bend - the Ginger Ale at Deschutes Brewery is unbelievable.
