Water Jug, + or - 5 gallons.

Post by Jivermo » Sun Jul 01, 2018 8:52 am

I am looking for a water storage container that holds and can dispense water for cooking, washing, etc. I’ve used several over the years, and all have leaked or are just plain crummy construction, i.e. spouts break easily or drip, seams split. Any suggestions on containers that you are pleased with? I’m not looking for a budget item, I’m looking for something that works.

we use a 5 and one of these. it didn't take the kids long to wack the spout so many time it developed a little crack, but i had been meaning to replace it with a length of clear tubing since day one. the pump is still going strong after much use.

I've heard good things about Waterbrick -- which is specifically intended as long-term water storage for emergency preparedness -- but have no actual experience with the product. Not cheap, but good stuff frequently isn't.
