The Big Bottom Option: Take 224 past Ripplebrook to FS46. 15 miles or so, turn right onto 4650 and cross a narrow bridge over the Clackamas. This bridge is just before the 4660 jct. It is new and very obvious. The railing has a big dent from a tree falling on it. Take the straight (curve to the left) gravel road 4651, the other way is ripped up. Go about 2 miles down this narrow but decent road. Camp is on the road on the left hand side, just before the road begins a big climb. You can't miss it. It is just before you get to Kansas Creek.

The Rho Option: Same as above but continue along and follow the red line.

Here is a map from another trip. 4650 is on the top left of the map:

I am officially putting this camp on RAIN DELAY. Not only am I terribly broke, I don't think we want to sit out in the cold rain after this horrendous winter that doesn't seem to end...low 50s and soggy forecast for Big Bottom.
Let us revisit in a couple weeks once the warm sun actually comes out for a few days. Mid May?

I'm good with that. Wasn't going to be able to make it this weekend anyway.

Sounds good.
Weather is bound to improve.
Just need two weeks notice to take the time off if I was to take a Friday off.
Maybe even Tristesa will have a bus by then?

Works for me. That'll give me time to road-test the Bus and maybe make it out at least for the Friday
