The February 20th Camp - 2015

Post by hambone » Sun Feb 08, 2015 7:09 pm

:sunny: Couple of weeks whattya think. So far no snow in the Cascades...but of course that will most likely change.
Thinking of Cot Creek or Shellrock Ck, both close in and lower elevation.
The usual, Beers Buses, Bob and Bratwurst. I was going to add "boobs" but that wouldn't be right. Leave my boobs alone, or "bobs" if you will.
Camping, yes? Aren't you sick of the house? We should start a new Feb. tradition, always room for another camp. :salute:
Don, is 5830-120 RD still open? Looks like a camp at Shellrock, I remember you telling me about it. 3000'

Hamy the 5830-120 was open last fall when Jaci and I picked huckleberries up the road a ways. I think that road and the 5830-230 road, the one used for the harvest moon campout a year or so ago are on the list to be decommissioned.

Forecast has changed a little bit.
Nobody's arm I could twist? I think I'm going anyway...haven't been out in the wilderness in a season. Spooky this time of year alone...I really could use the company! Too much time with me Eva or the Cat.
Working on Bus2 all my spare time. No telling how many long weeks. I should really stay home too, finish the cabinets, front shocks, front mat, speedo cluster and curtains(!). Well we'll see, eh?
Man! Like I was telling Don I need a dog or a robot girlfriend.
buses + the woods = perfect
I gotta go finish this front bumper circa 1969. Gray and clammy out there today after yesterday's blue skies.
Shell-rock forecast:
Friday A 30 percent chance of showers, mainly before 10am. Partly sunny, with a high near 44. West northwest wind around 8 mph.
Friday Night Mostly cloudy, with a low around 33.
Saturday Sunny, with a high near 49.
Saturday Night Mostly clear, with a low around 32.
Sunday Sunny, with a high near 48.
Sunday Night Mostly clear, with a low around 31.
Monday Sunny, with a high near 49.
