Friday morning for me, stuck at work until after 6 and I've got vision problems after that -- I can't see myself driving out and setting up in the dark after being on my feet all day.

Stopped at Otto's on the way home today and picked up 1.5# of Thüringer Rostbratwurst and 1# of "Hungarian" sausage. Just need beer, bacon, coffee and ice. Oh, and a new camp stove... :cyclopsani:

Hey cool, didn't think you were gonna make it! FWIW this one is a little closer, should take you about an hour and 1/2, gettin you there before dark. Set up the bed, crash early. It's nice waking up out there, feels like an extra day.

Directions:
224 past Estacada
57 (L) at Ripplebrook
58 (L) before the road turns to gravel
5830 (L)
pass Hideaway Lake
watch for the orange hubcap! Should be (R) at 230 at a small lake

Hey don't forget to bring guitars and other noisemakers, even if you suck. The $@#)%(% moon holds no judgement.
BTW look at this, did you guys know we actually planned it on the full moon this time?

Full Moon: October 18, 7:38 P.M.
Full Moon Names
October is the month of the Full Hunter's Moon.
This is the first Full Moon following the Harvest Moon last month.

• Full Hunter’s Moon or Full Harvest Moon – October This full Moon is often referred to as the Full Hunter’s Moon, Blood Moon, or Sanguine Moon. Many moons ago, Native Americans named this bright moon for obvious reasons. The leaves are falling from trees, the deer are fattened, and it’s time to begin storing up meat for the long winter ahead. Because the fields were traditionally reaped in late September or early October, hunters could easily see fox and other animals that come out to glean from the fallen grains. Probably because of the threat of winter looming close, the Hunter’s Moon is generally accorded with special honor, historically serving as an important feast day in both Western Europe and among many Native American tribes.

It rises around sunset and sets around sunrise, the only night in the month when the Moon is in the sky all night long.

This full Moon is also called the Travel Moon and the Dying Grass Moon.
Lovely.

$10 for 3 sausages...at least they're made a block from my house. Gettin' fancy around here, yikes. They are pretty big.
99% packed, looking forward to getting out early tomorrow. Just have to stop for beer, chips, sandwiches, and propane. And gas. And lantern fuel. Eh.
Gonna be a good one!
