Post by Sluggo » Wed Jun 12, 2013 8:02 pm

Anybody wanna join us? Help me celebrate 42 years of slacking through life.

Somewhere in the Cascades. Hammy will provide the directions later. I'll provide the excuse to camp & drink. :cyclopsani:

I think it's Don's birthday weekend too, weirdly.

Dos Sprangys may be too buggy this early, but I have never attempted it. Another option would be the high peak of S. Fork.

I shall check my calender.

Took me forever to find the old thread!
From Estacada:
Take 211 towards Molalla
Go a couple/few miles
Take a left on Hillockburn Rd.
This turns into FS 45
then follow the (crappy) map to the camp. If you screw up, 45 is a loop road. It will take you back down into the Clackamas on 224.

Plan B camp: Road 017 at the bottom of the (crappy) map. Watch for the orange hubcap.

So plan A is at the end of the 140 spur road?

Si. That's top of the hill. A great spot though the last time I was there there was some sort of beast in the brush...

That was my cousin .. if the ground was soft you might've found some of his big foot prints.

I'll be posting a google map to it for The Hamster's approval in the next few days. Been working long shifts to make up for my day off with Colin (starting in 9 hours and 10 minutes).

He actually came by today while I was at work and fixed my stripped out #3 plug!!!!! :salute: :salute: :salute:
Wow! That's a good person..... and a good friend.

He came back this morning and we cut a new notch for the CHT sender as well as dealing with some exhaust stud issues. Much better position for the ring terminal. :thumbleft:
