I am hopeful that a group camp can happen before the end of Sep. (20-22 or 27-29).

One way or 'tuther I'm gettin' out there. Papa needs some Papa time.

I think I will go to the 'wherever camp' ifn' I end up goin' solo.
So it all started when I wanted to get better gas mileage....

Just tuned up the Bus (for the first time sine June) and am really ready to get the hell out of town.
I will probably go someplace both weekends since summer is slipping away, again...but the 26th-29th (Thurs-Sun) I am free for sure, and that works best for me for the Clackamas Clown Crew Camp up ther Plaza aways.

Pick a date and I'll be there.

Same place. You'll find us.
Nasty weather hitting the Cascades this weekend, looks to be sunny for our camp (so far...).

F**K! I just sold the camper. Really hit home when I saw it driving away down the road (I realized at that moment that it was the first time I have ever not been in the camper when it was driving.)
It was time and needed to be done…but damn, whole lotta memories drove down the road.
Is it some kind of sickness that five minutes after the van drove off I was trolling craigslist “just looking” for another beater to start all over again? If anyone hears about any good deals out there…
But I think I need a camp trip; and soon. When you guys taking off for Whatever Camp? Any plans for camp modifications? I still got tools. I could use a good project over the weekend
Hambone- Are you going solo? Mind a ride along? I’m not sure I ready to be the “truck guy” yet.

I am going solo, but I am leaving Wednesday nite or Thursday morning if that works for ya. Of course you're welcome to come with. BUT, don't worry about the truck, Don brings his all the time.
Congrats on selling it, you needed to. There are always more old brokendown cars out there. Earlier Buses are easier and cheaper to maintain FWIW, but not as much space.

Heard of a running '74-'75 Bus out at Gresham Towing yesterday, but no idea if it's a camper or what they're asking...

I'll try and make it out for Friday night. Finally done with the Bus brakes, finally got Done Enough with the shed after putting the roof on yesterday .. in the rain. :angryfire:
