The Subaru seems to have sorted itself out, however there are other forces that prevent me from going. :(

You guys will be missed, put out a picture of moi when the brimstone starts coming down. :)

Pot Creek:
http://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=portl ... s&t=m&z=10

224 past Estacada to Ripplebrook
46 at Ripplebrook
Pass 63 (to your right)
stay on 46 all the way to the camp, following the Clackamas
Just past 4660 (goes uphill to your left) take the next driveway to your left. Follow it 1/8 mile to the end.
If you hit 42 then you've gone too far.

If the snow is too deep, we'll be somewhere along the way, possibly a Forest Service campground. Watch for VW signs or a nekkid ass or 2.

This is winter camping! Please come prepared with tire chains (you may need to chain up) and plenty of warm clothes and rainwear. And drive carefully out there, the roads are often icy this time of year.

Off to watch TV for 16 hours. Hope you all got home safe.

GREAT trip! Remained exciting until I pulled into my driveway. The road between The Dalles and Maupin was...well let's just say SHITTY! I bet it's snowin' like crazy up on the Pot. Again...GREAT trip!

Moooo, I am sad that I didn't get to attend.

Then again, I've been pretty damn busy.

Great trip. I really needed the reset. Didn't know if I was going to get out of there this morning. Time to get under the bus and start cleaning connections.

Left the camera at home so these are from my phone...

AWEsome! You guys are nothing if not intrepid. Here I am snuggled up by the fire, lamenting that I have to go out and plow the driveway and you're out there doing, like, brave stuff.

Who needs a camera anyway? Your phone stuff looks great.

Congrats on what had to be a good adventure.

Oh man, that does look great! Even the Civic could have done that with chains!

Doubtful. That was the main road. The road to get into the camp was worse. High centering would have been an issue with a Civic. We were scraping our belly pans as it was.
