Might I suggest the weekend of August 10-12? I'm unaware of anything else happening that weekend that might create a scheduling conflict for some of the more involved/busy folks in the area. The weekend before (Aug. 4-5) is the Steam Up at Antique Powerland in Brooks, the weekend after (Aug. 16-19) is Northwest MogFest in Sheridan...

That may work. Eva has a weeklong camp to attend but I'm not sure when.
I love it up there and may stay the week afterwards.

I've been told by the Wife that we are busy Sunday the 12th & Saturday the 18th. If you do stay the week afterwards, Bob, I may be able to join you on Monday.

I love how the sign in the pic says "Local Traffic Only". Like there's a neighborhood there.

Friday to Friday, that may work for me, 10-17th. It may just be me and Eva on this trip.
I'll change the thread title when I know for sure. It's August already, can you believe it? And Hambone, my favorite trip of the year.

It'll be one of those old timey mountain-man-rendezvous-es'! Can't wait.
I have been intently studying old maps of the area, lots of secrets out there. A lifetime.

Hammy, I'm up for a burly mountain-man hike on Saturday if you've scoped out any good trails on those maps of yours.

Im bringing my Dutch oven and I'll try to cook up something half edible.

Get that bus running, Hal. Bummer Gypsie.

X2 to all above ^
I will drag you up Iron Mountain, probably few whiteys have been up there. A supposed pre-1840s trail lurks up there. I'm scare't to go alone.
