You guys know that you should keep an eye on this one....anyone that has to tell you is worth watching. :geek:

Y'all have fun and remember to take photos. Specially after Todd gets to drinkin'..... :pirate:
Is there something we should know when Todd is a drinkin? Hey you never know about people you meet on the internet. I am pretty comfortable that anyone I would meet on this sit would be for the most part normal but who knows. We have to set up a national IAC campout for all of the members to get to know each other. Perhaps we can rotate the site yearly. There are so many good people on her it is unbeliveable compared to the large # if weirdos that are out there. From the pacific NW to the NE to SE to the SW and the midwest heres to the IAC.
I'm all out of ideas and I've tried nothing.

Well maybe Matt is the one to watch, since he is declaring himself 'normal'. Who besided Colin has met Matt? Hmmmmm.

It would make for a good horror movie, a bunch of strangers, all in VW buses, in the dark, in the middle of nowhere.

BTW: I am a bit of a crank, but harmless...or should I say a total psycho?

PS: Turk would vouch for me, but he's been banned. Manfred? Colin? Gypsie and the west coast mafia, stay out of this!

We've been to a few campouts over the years not knowing anyone and have ended up meeting and becoming friends with folks that have some damned interesting stories...

Me?...I'm just a monkey with car keys..

I am enjoying the anticipation of hanging out with a group of people that I have never met before. It should be fun. Besides the fact of some us meeting what about the campground folk - they will certainly think something is strange when bus after bus pours in tomorrow. This isnt exactly the pacific NW or Cali.

Perhaps we can write a screenplay tomorrow. This might even be someone you know - a stranger that is lurking the woods - that has been waiting and waiting for you to arrive. Beware the shadow.

My friend Chris might be showing up in one of his buses. He's non-internet but a real guru from way back.

Sounds good the more buses the better or something like that...

Cool. By non-internet do you mean an off the grid hippie?

That was fun. We had quite a black and white dog convention.

Most people think their bus is vehicle enough for camping, not Manfred, takes two vehicles for his entourage.

It was a lot like that. A McHenry County cop came through and told us that we had to keep our dogs on leash. Then he added "if I get a complaint, I'll have to write a ticket", I took that as code for 'proceed at your own risk, I won't come back and check as long as no one complains."

Bummed I missed, looks cool. How was that place?

I made it over to the show in Crystal Lake for a little bit. Several buses. I have a couple pics to post later.

It was a pretty nice campsite, decent amount of space, we took up about half of the RV loop. Nice old oaks, showering us with lots of acorns, there's miles of trails, through the oak savanahs and midwestern prarie.
I think it deserves a more extended stay.

Here's Loco (Spam) and his lady (she looks like belongs in the outback) swapping:

I asked the kids if they like the swap-o-rama, and they both said, "Oh, yeah!". That's a first.
