Mark, yeah I might just come down thursday night and chill with you. I might be able to get down there early enough to have time to get into the woods if ya want...or not...doesn't matter to me :geek:

With all of the "new" kerosene lanterns I've purchased in the past two weeks along with Bob and Mark's this could be one of the best lit camp outs ever.
Chorizo, it's what's for breakfast.

And I've got three to add to the mix. A little extra light never hurt a campfire pickin' session.

That's going to be a sight to behold. Here's the latest vintage Feuerhand I just got today. Don't think it's ever been used.

Hands down one of the funniest camp moments we've had together. Gypsie, you in on this one? Don't even need a GPS to find it.

Placed a special sausage order today from a connection I have back east (Illinois...that's back east isn't it?) wah ha ha ha.

And re: all the lantern hubbub...I'm gonna try using good 'ole fashioned kerosene instead of that spendy-ass knock-off parafin lamp oil crap. WAY cheaper and twas what these were designed to burn...fired one up today with it and it burned like it should...clean and bright. And...15 bucks or so buys 2 1/2 gallons....will last me a couple seasons....carry on

I've read that in the old tube lanterns that you want to stay away from the parafin based stuff. It can gum up the wicks and what not.

Check it out.....
