See ya there,

Woodland, but that puts you on the opposite side of the reservoirs and you'll have to cut quite a ways back south to get to Chelatchie and road 54. I think it'd be faster to go up 503 all the way. More direct anyway. Unless you want to take Hayes which turns into NE Cedar Creek rd to 503. That'll keep you on the south side of the reservoirs. That's the way we used to go to Campers Hideaway at Merwin. Glad you're going to be able to make it Neal!

Yes, awesome Neil. Good to see you it will be.

I'll be taking 503 North of the resevoirs but I am coming south anywho so it makes sense for me. Google wanted me to take the Hayes road as well but I denied it the control. :geek:

T minus 8 hours and counting......

And nice job Hammie!!! What time are you and Eva jamming out of P-town?

I'm on autopilot running up to Cheryle's. One of my first visits I missed the Amboy turn off Cedar Creek Rd heading back to town and ended up in Woodlawn to my surprise.

Cheryle's Dad developed Campers Hideaway and she spent summers flipping burgers at the now defunct little snack shack. They had a small fleet of type 4 bays they used to tour prospectives through when it was getting going. The gravel drive to her place is at the top of the hill off the road that deadends at the Hideaway. Keep an eye out for Cooper cash.

Missed ya hammie. Had a great evening around the campfire, but alas, am back to work myself. Much Brutal Bitter and more, swimming head today. Deep discussion, but alas, we were unable to resolve the world's problems.

What I thought would be a secluded barren campground was actually packed. Wicked Devils Club everywhere and regally large trees. It was great to get out of town and hang.

I really needed that. Good therapy. Good company. Good times. Almost forgot the good food and good beer.

Can't wait for Maupin!

Bob, thanks again for the music.

Hey what do you have your stove set up on in that last pic? I like the looks of the make shift kitchen and have been trying to figure something like that to use...

That new camera of yers is working great!! Really caught the moments, that trek around the woods was a ton of fun and the day was just beautiful. Thanks for the tunes hammy, ya got me hooked on Dylan now.

Here is my spattering of pics, I did okay this time...sometimes it is hard to find the "frame" that you want to capture everything. Still fun though
