1969 VW Bug Convertible - $6000obo

This is a 1969 VW Bug convertible, baby blue. Unknown miles on a well running engine with a new carburetor. Get in and drive. The top was replaced sometime ago, but is like new, seals well, the hardware is there and it folds up and down smoothly. The interior is in very good shape. The body is in very good shape with some minor rusting at the bottom of the doors. The floors and heater channels are solid. There is a set of replacement chrome, although only one or two pieces are missing. There is also a replacement door panel for the drivers door. The convertible top cover in fair condition. It needs a fuel filler tube. It likely needs a once over to check the brakes. There is something wonky with the driver's seat track/bracket. The wheels have surface rust and look ugly. The tires...it will likely need to tires. Other than that, this would be a great daily or rolling resto. Pics coming soon. Email with questions.

Do you know the owner?
Seat mount missing the plastic guide, or is this a weld repair-in-waiting?
