Often I can't tell whether the back-country outfitter is kidding or dead-on serioushambone wrote: I'd rather not sleep in a poptop on the winter coast if'n I can avoid it.
See ya'll at the coast. Weather has gotta turn by next weekend...wouldn't ya say? Chains on board. Will be good practice for Wayne to install them on two buses.

Re: Unsuperbowl 2012
My first plan was to bring my backpack and pitch a tent among the dunes. Leave me alone, snif. If the weather isn't nuts I may still do it.
It's hard to leave my bus behind, it's my dog. Plus it's where I keep all my krap. Not only that, but I'm showing up with my tail between th' legs, broke, stripped of ego, humbled and shamed.
But in stead I'll be riding with my good buddy Gypsie. God knows where we'll wind up.
P.S. Solstice Camp last month, pffft. With Eva no less, she's tuff.

Re: Unsuperbowl 2012
I got a comfy tent and cot you're welcome to use...or, will the cot fit in your tent? How, eh hem, big is your pup? (tent) Just as long as you're there Hammy. I can even check with the hosts on thurs and see if they will have issue with two buses in one site....then you can drive yer bus if you prefer.

Re: Unsuperbowl 2012
is your tent big enough to support a cot? will be WAY more comfy than sleeping on the ground.

Probably not. It's nice sleeping on sand though.

Re: Unsuperbowl 2012
Anyone check out the latest forecast?!?!?!!! Currently (I know, things could change...but I'm an optimist).
They're calling for sunny, mid-50's and 0% chance of precipitation. Please! We could nail it again this year!

I won't be coming in 'till Friday afternoon. Somebody else want to grab the oysters on Thursday?
