I agree with Bleyseng and Static. The two Marks playing on Friday night were great. The rest of it I could take or leave. Remember there are lots of kids there trying to play and interact and they don't listen to the music at all it.....
It's an unfortunate trend I've seen elsewhere as well. A couple of years ago, the London Bridge Bullis brought in LOUD amplified music for both nights of the Buses By the Bridge show. It damn near killed all the evening jams that made the event so popular with folks like me. I sure don't want to see the RendezVW turn into this as well.
When the only place you can hold a conversation when the band is playing is around the area of the front gate, something's wrong.
