Looks like I will be flying solo. My buddies '72 engine rebuild will not be done in time and he came down with some sort of cold/sickness. This will be much easier by avoiding a hassle with the park ranger and parking. Thanks for all the input and advise, I will remember to bring a good book, coffee, and my camera. I have never played Bocce ball before so that sounds like fun!

Weather update: Looks like there are chances of showers for Friday and Saturday. I'll take that over a guarantee pouring all weekend any February day at the coast. :thumbright:

My Buddy Ryan is watching the tide report. If things are good we plan on getting some mussels. You are invited!
Not sure we will make it for Sushi, I have some things I have to do before we leave town. Probably meet you all at Nehalem by around 1-2 pm.
You will be missed!

Ha.. no, I have heard of Porterville.. born and raised there.. but had never heard that it had the richest people per capita and having lived there, I really don't believe it!

We probably won't be rolling into Nehalem until about 3 or so.

Mark are you bringing a chain saw? Might I throw some gas in it and rip a few logs?

For all those meeting up for Sushi tomorrow at noon.. here is a map of the place.

http://maps.google.com/maps?ie=UTF8&q=i ... iwP1-MC6DQ

If you're heading West on Hwy 26, exit on Murray and turn right. Then make about your second big left on a big street called Cornell.

You'll see a Safeway store on your right and the restaurant is in that shopping center, a few stores to the left (West) of Safeway on the same side of the street.

We haven't had time to pack at all - it will be a typical throw it all in the bus and see what we forgot when we arrive scenario (I've been a bit busy for the last few weeks)...

In the middle of that scenario right now. Be at Sushi in 1 hour.

Elwood is always ready, but I will be someday soon. Have a great camp-out and suck a oyster or two down for me and my brain.
