Maupin
My first year out to Maupin and what a treat to put some more names to faces! I am one lucky gal to know and spend time with so many good souls.
Mark, thank you for everything!
Z...I'm sorry I didn't get to say good-bye to you and Jeffrey before I left. You rock it girlfriend!
Pete, wish I had a chance to chat more and thanks for saying "stout" several times for me. ;-)
Kirk...see you at the Lab for more tiki discussions?
Bob & Erin... didn't get to say good-bye to you either but I do believe there is going to be a wine and hoop making night soon?
Elaine & Mike - holy crap! you are both hooping naturals.
Hal...glad you were able to salvage a part from Wayne's Wilson!
Brendan & Summer - THANK YOU FOR THE COFFEE!!!
Wayne & Michelle...thank you for the pancakes!
John & Kim...thank you for the sausage!
Colin...well, thanks for coming.
OK, I could gush on and on and on....
Here are a few pics and as soon I develop my film, I'll post more.

I got home around 3 this afternoon, just shy of 1300 miles RT. Sorry I sneaked out last night but it made the drive back a lot more manageable. Loved meeting all of you in person!
Here are a few pictures:

This was my first Maupin campin' trip. Really enjoyed it. Here's some pictures taken from my phone since our digital camera took a crap.
West-sigh-eed (as Wayne would say it) meeting Friday morn:
Over the hills and through the woods to Maupin's campground we go:
A sight of our site:
The inside of a Squareback with camping hinges, ready for bed-time!
Next morning and this is how we felt:
So I went back home on Saturday and exchanged my baby for the Scooby Diva (Riviera Bus). We slept muuuuch better Saturday night
Thank you for the beer samplings -- the coffee one was the best!! Thank you for the coffee in the morning, too!
Thanks to The Garcia Family for allowing us to camp next to them and entertain us with the hulla-hoops
I hope Hal got towed home okay and can "get 'er done!" Poor guy, he really needs to get a break on his dubs.
It was neat to put names to faces to handles. Thanks to everyone for being so nice and allowing us to inspect your interiors for ideas. The kids were great, the dogs were great, the porta-potties were stinky (just ask Michelle and Antonette) but that's just part of the memories of the event
Extra special THANKS to Mark and those that helped put this together. I do know the amount of work that goes into such an event and it was great! We already want to make this a yearly family trip and are looking forward to next year...and with the Bus
