What, do they have something against a cold refreshing beverage in a bottle cozy? :bom:

We went further, and then the bus broke down outside of Redding.
Big pain in the ass. Got home by 9:00pm.

Dang, what happened?

It was great to meet your buddy BTW, really nice guy and that dog of his (after it warmed up to me) was a cutie....I mean sweetie, er...

Wonder if the guy (was it john or josh?) with the new to him 72' made it back with his top still on the roof of his bus :cyclopsani:

I was over with the red Riviera giving mechanical advice. I wandered back over there while y'all were getting yer shit together for the photo and missed it.

I don't know what happened to him, but I suspect carb problems based on what he said in this thread.

Redding isn't a bad place to break down & get stuck in a VW. Between BusBoys and Wolfgang International you'd be able to get just about anything. Thankfully you didn't get stuck, the weather in Redding this time of year sucks, IMO.

The cause was not conclusive. It was probably a combination of things, most likely the carb, but I am wary of the fuel pump as well.

My suspicion is that there are frogs living in my fuel tank.

My sister and Brother inlaw and their kids had a great time and I just wanted everyone to get a last look at his thing. He was talking about showing everyone his thing for weeks. He was rubbing it for all he was worth. And it shows
