I'll be out of town at a wedding but that's not to say that it wouldn't work for everyone else. who wants to go.

Static, you still planning on heading out to Arroyo Seco?

I second the vote for Nov. 17-19. If the snow isn't adding up by then there are some nice spots around the White River and Badger Creek wilderness too.
Chorizo, it's what's for breakfast.

Yes, I couldn't wait for the weenies here to decide something, so I did some deciding. I'm a decider, not a weenie!

So yes, the day after Thanksgiving, Arroyo Seco. Bring some firewood. Also, the hot showers take quarters, so bring some quarters if you wish to be less grubby.

One more thing: figure on 30 minutes from Greenfield to the campground, and the sun goes down early in late November, so get there as early as possible. The CB will be on channel 2.

Well, I guess us weenies are the ones that will be in OR from Nov 17-19. We have some choices to make on the location:

1. Clackamas?

2.White River?

3. Badger Creek?

You OR folks know these places WAY better then I do and I am just excited to see a new place. I think we should do a Friday night arrival if you can but Sat if you can't and depart on Sun. I have some fire wood to contribute and we can do a pot luck if that fancies everyone.

Names:

IAC weenie roast 1?
We froze our weenies off 1?
Spiffy got so drunk and acted like a weenie 1?
Weenies in OR?
Weenies search for Sasquatch?

But I do think we will freeze our collective weenies off, except for the women of course.

Deal!
Dingo was talking to me about it in out there in the real world, so if he will get his head out of the engine compartment, we'll have the beginnin's of a convoy. (minus the CB, I don't have one yet :( )

My lady likes to be over punctual so we will probably be boondocking it somewhere along 101 on thursday nite. :pirate:

"Work" is indeed a four-letter word. Unless the schedule changes in the next couple weeks, I hafta work weekends. And since I just started working .. finally .. I can't really take time off anytime soon. I'm the current low-man-on-totem-pole.

Probably the soonest weekend I'll be able to pull off for a camping event is going to be the WetWesties UnSuperbowl gathering at Nehalem in February. But hey, I'll be able to afford the gas to get there and the beer to drink. :cyclopsani:
