I take it that you mean to "go down to" Bend, most likely the town in Oregon. Suggest you edit your post, before the IAC fellow spots that flagrant flaw.

Pretty sure they mean Descend on Bend. Appears to be an annual thing.

Found it, Oct. 5th-8th. Can't do it. That's the first week of deer hunting and I'll be in the woods trying to fill the freezer.

4 busses from Portland so far: Wednesday Oct. 4 going in the evening to a meet up at a pub. Their is a bunch of busses doing the same. Camp overnight and in the morning drive in as a big group. Wish I knew the names of the pub and the camp ground but I did not get the memo. Hope someone can fill in the details.

we're not headed out till fri morning. looks like the official plan is to meet at the silver moon brewing in bend wednesday night, sleep in the parking lot there and cruise to the DoB site thursday morning. we're not hooked up with anybody except our honda element friends.

It will be nice to see some Portlanders. It's been a while. Funny how life goes, isn't it?
