gotta glue me some round parts on the Gypsie Wagon. I was almost completely left out of Hambone's series. Sheesh. It's still air cooled, ya know.
So it all started when I wanted to get better gas mileage....

Along that note, I have a butt ugly badly oxidized brown '78 champagne edition that we could have running in a matter of a couple of hours...needs a new pop top canvas but she's all there. I'll make ya one hell of a deal and even help you get her running :geek: (I know that butt ugly description takes away from my sales pitch, but with a bit of rubbing compound and wax.....whoa baby. And, you'll like this...she has a bullet hole in the engine hatch....talk about character...well, the Big Turd (your future bus already is named...save you from coming up with something creative) yes, the Turd definitely has character. .....buy a bay.....buy a bay.............................................................

We have been batting around some ideas. Your neck of the woods keeps coming up. I was hearing heading towards Spiffy. Be kinda cool to find something sort of twixt all of us. Can't wait til April (Covelo) Definitely can't wait til the RendesVW.

Let's look at our maps and see what is there. How far you willing/able to go?

And then let's start a new thread for this "Next Trip" and get our posts in one pile.

April is Covelo, assuming we can get some rudimentary planning done. It's also probably teh soonest I'll be able to get out & go camping unless something's done mid-weekish .. leery of asking for much time off from work with me still being low-man-on-totem-pole.

Stephan, you could compensate for your inherant lack-of-roundness with a few gallons of Bondo.
