7th Annual Deschutes River RendezVW, Maupin Oregon

Post by deschutestrout » Fri Jan 13, 2012 6:33 pm

7th Annual?!??!? Yes, I find it hard to believe that this is already our 7th year ... seems like yesterday I was putting together plans for year #1 and hoping I could get a handful of buses together, make some new friends in the VW community, and have some fun.

Last year we had the company of 75 buses and owners! Tis time for 2012 planning and I can hardly wait for the weekend ... one of my favorite weekends of the year!

The 7th Annual Deschutes River RendezVW will be held on Father's Day weekend, June 15-17 in Maupin Oregon.

Please register EARLY! It helps me a bunch to know how many are coming, how many shirts to order, etc.

Registration forms can be downloaded using the links below (the PDF is not a fillable form...print it, fill it, send it)

http://www.deschutesriveroasis.com/VWresPDF.pdf

Please PM me if you have questions. Hope to see you in June! Mark

For those who haven't been, this is the Premier Bus Event in the Northwest. While the westside drizzles, Maupin sizzles with nice weather and great company. Looking forward to seeing you all again this year.
The best navigators aren't sure where they're going until they get there. And then they're still not sure.

I would love to see the duck again. BTW, I will continue to call it the duck until it's officially renamed. Maybe Colin should sell the naming rights like the sports stadiums do! I can see it now... the 2012 Itinerant Air-Cooled summer tour brought to you by the Geico Gekco-palooza Bus! You know they can do wonders with vinyl wrap. Eh, maybe not.

Maybe it's time to stretch the squareback's legs.

I think AT&T should sponsor him, with all the trouble he had last year. I think they owe him.
