Post by daisycutter » Sat Sep 29, 2018 4:36 pm

Hi all,

Just putting my family friends 74 jeans beetle back on the road after years parked up.

The below two wires were disconnected years ago and i cant seem to find a wiring diagram showing those colours.

Any ideas please. Come from main wiring loom on left hand side:

Red/Green
Yellow/Green

Cheers
Paul.

But first, do I see a bunch of explosed wire terminals sitting at the fuel line? Hahaaa, get my misspelling?

So, 1974 had the computer diagnostic socket in the engine compartment. Do you still have that computer socket?
If yes: disconnect battery, pull diagnostic plug off bracket. Look for wire colors above. If yes, you may delete them.
If no: next question, was this ever an autostick?
