Throw out bearing guide sleeve

Is this metal guide sleeve for the throwout bearing http://www.airheadparts.com/viewDetail. ... oduct=7951
an acceptable replacement for the original plastic one on my 77 bus.

Sure. Lubrication (moly grease) between TO bearing and sleeve is mandatory with metal.
